Graeme has a long-established presence in the Northern English and Scottish jazz and improv scenes so its not surprise he’s appearing at GIOfest hot on the heels of two sets at Newcastle’s TUSK Virtual last month. Highly regarded as both a collaborator and as leader of his own quartet, featuring bassist Andy Champion and others, Wilson is also a GIO veteran.
Cath Keay is a visual artist channelling her explorations mostly through ideas about sculpture and architecture. She also works around ideas about designed structures and how nature and creatures interact with and change them. Graeme and Cath’s piece sees them both respond to the other from their very different standpoints.
